BAT:
I'm sitting on my deck just as the sun sets, watching the sky change colors, thanking the Universe for a
pleasent successful day and over my head flys the Bat. Bat is the symbol of Rebirth.
SWAN: GRACE
You must be willing to accept whatever the future holds as it is presented, without trying to change Great Spirit's plan.
Surrender to the flow of the spiral and trust what comes. This is a time of altered states of consciousness and development
of your intuitive abililities. Accept your ability to know what the future holds. Surrender to the Grace of the rhythm
of the universe, and slip from physical body into dreamtime, be at one with all planes of consciousness and trust the protection
of the Great Spirit.
The Great Spirit is always speaking to us, when we attune ourselves and listen. Listen........all are
speaking to us.......listen, the wind has a voice, the winged ones, the four leggeds, the creepers and crawlers, the standing
ones.....the swimmers..all have voices and something to say.....realize that even the Earth herself has a voice......guiding
us along life's pathways.
LISTEN, BE STILL, LISTEN. Can you hear your messages?
What are Power Animals? In these times we are quite separated from Nature.
We are more in tune with the cars on the road, the grocery stores, the TV, the movies, newspapers and fast food. But
in the early days of our land people were in touch with Nature. Every living thing had a voice. Because there
were no distractions people could actually hear those different voices. Especially with the animals...their souls had
a voice and the native people could hear that voice. Each animal represents a specific medicine or power. Each person
has four of these animals, one for each direction; guarding and helping to guide life's path onward into the future.
Each animal has a certain power and gift to offer each human being to help in all situations in life. BECOME AWARE AND
RE CONNECT TO YOUR SPECIAL POWER ANIMAL, looking over you.

Buffalo medicine is knowing that abundance is present when all relations are honored as sacred,
and when gratitude is expressed to every living part of creation. It is a sign that you achieve nothing without the
aid of Great Spirit and that you must be humble enough to ask for that assistance and then be grateful for what you receive."

BUTTERFLY: The power that Butterfly brings to us is akin to Air, the Mind,
the ability to know the mind, or to change it. The Art of Transformation. The main message of the Butterfly....."you
are ready to undergo some type of transformation." Butterfly represents courage... there is a totally different world outside
the cocoon! This new world demands that you use your newfound wings and FLY.
POWER ANIMALS: I came to understand my power animals after a beautiful initiation drum
session. I was visiting a friend in Naples, Florida and was invited to join a Shaman Drum Journey Initiation Weekend.
An experienced Shaman Drum Journey Guide by the name of Heather gave us the opportunity to journey within ourselves, within
a non ordinary reality of Spirit to re connect to our personal Power Animals. We came back from the drum journey celebrating
successful experience of each of our Power Animals, which were all different.

EAGLE medicine is the power of the Great Spirit, the connection to the Divine.
This photo was taken from our dock. Eagle sat high above me in an old dead tree, watching me take photos of her, then
she sprang from the branch and took flight! .
EAGLE : SPIRIT........smybolizing a state of grace achieved through hard work,
pain, suffering, sacrifice, understanding and a completion of the tests of initiations which result in the taking of one's
personal power. "Broaden your horizons, go beyond what is presently visible!"

HUMMING BIRD IS GONE FROM THESE PARTS NOW THAT OCTOBER FULL MOON HAS PASSED.
Humming Bird has magical qualities. Her feathers open the heart. She will quickly fly
away from discord or harshness. Everytime I see Humming Bird it's a sign of Joy. Humming Bird's mission is to
spread Joy. Darting from flower to flower she holds the bow of beauty. Hummingbird is a fragil medicine.
Beauty is his target. Journey into your personal pain and know that your sorrow is your joy in another reflection.
Saturday August 11/07: A wonderful thing happened this day! Sunrise I was sitting
on the front porch of a dear friend and heard a humming sound coming closer, I looked up from my prayers and there right in
front of my face was a beautiful HUMMINGBIRD looking right into my eyes! Not two inches from my face!
She stayed for a while too, we just looked into each other's eyes with total awe that this
was really happening, then she flew back to the red flowers and out of site again! I arrived home around sunset.
I had a nice little package from my dear family at Essencial Dreams www.essencialdreams.com the enclosed card was an amazing and cosmic surprise! THE FACE OF THE HUMMINGBIRD
WOMAN, her eyes looking right at me!
There are tears in my eyes now as I recall this story to you. My time with my friends
was an intense time for them and me. Their baby finally made his entrace into this Earthplain on 8/12/07, but I wasn't able
to be their with them then. My heart is sore, but I know it is all Divine Plan . I am realizing as I
write this the Hummingbird meant so very much to my Mother. She would wait for them every spring and say goodbye
to them every fall. She taught me to do the same. Also when Jeannine Parvati was leaving her body we spoke for a brief
time and she told me she was transforming into Hummingbird Energy.
You know, I think I had a very blessed visitation that sunrise, support from HUMMINGBIRD
WOMAN and my two very favorite MOTHERS who have gone on before us. I LOVE YOU MAURINE, I LOVE YOU JEANNINE. Vimala 8/15/07.
Tuesday: 6/26/07: Today Hummingbird arrived in my life again! I planted red flowers
for her this year! She's back bringing all her JOY!

THE DEAR/DEER:
I do think of them as DEAR. They are beautiful and there are plenty in our habitat here at the lake. We want
to see them every day. There souls are so sweet and kind, they are gentle in every way. I love to see the deer
they remind me of the loved ones in my life.
Deer reminds us to use the power of gentleness to touch the hearts and minds of wounded beings who are trying to keep
us from sacred mountain, the serenity centering place within you. Apply gentleness, become like the summer breeze; warm
and caring. The only true balance to power is the love and compassion of Deer.
CROW: The Keeper of Sacred Law. Crow medicine people are masters of illusion. The law which states
that "all things are born of women" is signified by Crow. Pause and reflect on how you see the laws of the Great Spirit
in relation to the laws of humanity. Crow medicine signifies a firsthand knowledge of a higher order of right and wrong.

HAWK is the Messenger. Hawk is akin to Mercury, the messenger of the gods. So Hawk medicine brings tidings
from the world of the grandfathers and grandmothers. It is a clue about the magic of life. Be observant, pay attention,
receive and perceive.
BEAVERS are the Lodge Builders incorporating the strong sense of home and family. Beaver has determination and willingness
to work. Yesterday Beaver and I came eye to eye. I was amazed at the size of her and that tree she was transporting
through the water. Beaver tells you to look at alternative soulutions to life's challenges and to protect the creations which
you put your love and energy into. Building dreams including others too. Put your ideas into action, complete some project
that has been neglected.
HUMMINGBIRD IS BACK in my life. They are back from their long journey! I found that out yesterday.
I walked into my sunroom and found a ever so tiny HummingBird trapped inside trying to fly out a closed window. She
was truly struggling and frightened. She was making her sounds for help. I spoke to her to say I only wanted to
help her be free. She dropped down onto the window ledge, still and quiet. I noticed that her right wing looked
damaged and she wasn't able to close it. I moved my hand closer to her, very slowly, she jumped up onto my index finger
and I was able to set her free again. She flew off sideways, I felt she was watching me as she flew. Her message
to me was very clear. She spoke to me about being trapped in the lack of joy...somehow my joy has been damaged and only
I am able to source back to it again and set myself free. Look for Hummingbird near your red flowers, they have returned
from winter.
TURTLE
Wow! I love the warm days, the green leaves, the smells of honey suckle at dusk and the birds singing
their hello Sun and goodbye Sun songs every day. All the birds are in their nests keeping those baby eggs nice and warm.
Yesterday we found a very large Turtle at our gate to the natural world. She was as long as my foot, size 6.
TURTLE is the oldest symbol in Native American teachings for the Planet Earth. The personification
of goddess energy, the eternal Mother from which our lives evolve. She is a fine teacher of the art of grounding.
In learning to ground, you are placing focus on your thoughts and actions and slowing to a pace that assures completion.
Do not "push the river" Turtle warns, it has to keep it's pace. Connect with the power of Earth and the Mother Goddess
within. Ask for her assistance and abundance will follow.
FOX
"Yesterday I was very surprised to see a Fox running through the woods between our house and the lake.
She was being chased by a couple of dogs who had found her there. I feel it's very special to see a Fox, they have the
art of camouflage."
Fox has chosen to share it's medicine with me, it is a sign that I am to become like the wind, which is
unseen yet is able to weave into and through any location or situation. Fox is teaching us the art of Oneness through
its understanding of camouflage."
BEAR
Introspection
The strength of BEAR medicine is the power of introspection. It lies in the West on the great medicine wheel of
life. BEAR seeks honey, or the sweetness of truth. The female receptive energy that for centuries has allowed visionaries,
mystics, and shamans to prophesy is contained in this very special BEAR energy.
